The most recent still lifes are at the top and are larger than my daily paintings. It is a challange to capture the beauty of everyday objects.
Since 2009, when I became aware of the Painting-a-Day movement, I have painted over 1000 small still life paintings. You can see what is available and purchase through PayPal at my gallery on the Daily PaintWorks site where you can view all the most recent paintings.
During this process of painting small paintings in a limited time frame, two hours or so, I have gained a lot of brush mileage and valuable experience in alla prima style painting. After painting each one I usually post the painting on my blog, claudiahammer.blogspot.com
